How to add TekTone Wireless Pendants to your TekTone wireless system.

This article will guide you through the process of adding a Tektone SF503UL or SF504UL to your Tektone config tool.

  1. Through the Tekbridge access the LS450 config tool or if configured to have access the LS450 config tool from a computer networked with the NC475.
  2. Launch the LS450 config tool.
  3. Choose to Load Configuration From System.
  4. Choose Load With Private Data and wait for the system to load.
  5. Add the name of the resident into the Patients menu (you can also add their phone number here).
  6. Assign a default location (drop down menu) and check the checkbox of the location.
  7. Go to the Locations menu and add their phone number by editing the location.
  8. Get their Check-in device ID and pendant device ID under the battery on the device.
  9. Take note of the pendant and check-in device ID.
  10. Go to the transmitters menu and search for the device ID for the pendant. 
  11. Assign the pendant to the name of the resident (drop down).
  12. Make sure the pendant is assigned the correct zone.
  13. Make sure the pendant is set to In-Use.
  14. Double check if the device is assigned to the correct location and zone.
  15.  Save configuration File by choosing the Save As option and use the current date to name the file.
  16. Commit Configuration to System.
