Adding/Changing Cedars Call Box Directory

updating the resident information in the ALGO call box system at Mt. SAG

When updating the ALGO box for the MT. SAG Cedars call box you will follow the steps listed below.

  • Access MSAG8 remotely via ninja using the ISNNOC password in the custom fields.
  • Open the CEDARS DIRECTORY folder from the desktop and access the latest text file(check the date to confirm).
  • Add or update the name being requested.
  • Maintain the current format last name first name then the phone number.
  • Save the changes with the current date into the same folder.
  • Open Google Chrome.
  • Navigate to the device IP address http://10.0.0.70(this is bookmarked).
  • Login with the default password "algo".
  • Open the System tab.

  • Open the File Manager tab >select uiapp from the left side > select upload > add the text file you saved with the updates/changes.

  • Select the User Interface tab > Page 2 - Cedars Directory.
  • Click the Directory Page drop down and select the file you uploaded > click save > click reboot to push the changes to the call box.

Congrats, you have updated the Cedars call box directory. Report back to the requester that the updates have been made.
